Riverfront Cabin! Fireplaces, Kayaks w/ Hobby Farm (DB)

Exeeded expectations. My daughter texted me saying " Dad, it's legit." Lol - I didn't understand what that meant but my son said they really like it. It's a real hand hewn log cabin. Has a great "vibe" - per my sons and daughter. The kayaks, life jackets, paddles and other equipment were well cared for, clean and ready to use. Great view from the screened in porch. We would recommend it and stay there again.

The Daniel Boone cabin was a perfect place for family to gather. The space was ample both inside and outside. The cabin is a real tribute to craftsmanship! Luray is a quaint town with great options to eat. Highly recommend the Mexican Restaurant and Luray Caverns. The river is a great place to fish and enjoy other water sports. We would have appreciated the lawn being trimmed as walking from the cabin to the river left feet wet due to the long grasses. Overall, our stay was everything we were looking for!

Lifejackets were in the mud. Kayaks were mostly broken. The one I was using sank in the river.Very small kitchen. Beds were small with sagging mattresses.The cabin itself was interesting, very old

Charming cabin for our 3 family units, 6 adults & 4 kids. Driving directions made it hard to find the property, can you include a street address? More accurate to say "1.5 baths" since one shower was all for the 10 of us. Light was barely adequate, with many bulbs missing, like over kitchen sink. Needed more dish cloths to adhere to clean, dry dishes rule. Ditto a better grill brush for cleaning. Advertised swim dock for river access is not there. Red ride-in kayak had big crack toward back fin, and it plus yellow tandem kayak were missing plugs. Mouse droppings in some kitchen drawers. Despite all this, it was a good time.

We celebrated my son’s graduation with family at the Daniel Boone cabin and had a wonderful time. It was an easy place to use, the grounds were beautiful and proximity to the park was perfect. The cabin was as rustic and charming as described. Jennifer was a great host and a visiting orange kitty stole our hearts. Thank you.
