Riverfront Cabin! Fireplaces, Hobby Farm & Kayaks (BR)

Cabin was rustic and on a great piece of property.

My husband and I were looking for a lowkey spring break getaway with our boys ages 4 & 7. Riverfront Cabins was the perfect spot. The owners sent a welcome email once we booked which included details about our stay and a house manual that answered any lingering questions. We stayed in the Bass Reeves cabin which was cozy and perfect for our family of 4. The one bedroom is large so we put an air mattress in the room for our boys who like to stay close when in new places but a pullout sofa was available. Kitchen had everything we needed. River was right on property but with a large green space for littles to run without fear of them getting too close to the water. We didn’t get a chance to use the water equipment available to guests but it was fully stocked. We did fish and my 7 year old caught his first fish! We look forward to visiting again. If you are looking for a getaway from tv/electronics (wifi and tv available but spotty at times) and a chance to slowdown to enjoy the beauty of nature this would be a the place to go.

Cabin was in a great location, convenient to everything to do in and around Luray. Overall we had a great stay, though the furniture could use some updating to enhance comfort.

My husband and I celebrated a milestone anniversary at the Bass Reeves cabin for 3 nights last week. The cabin was very comfortable to stay in and the property was beautiful.

We rang in the new year quietly at the Bass Reeves cabin. It was lovely in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and river views.
